ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I’m Amy Gallagher. I’m a recent alumni of Cal State University Long Beach, where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. I am originally from the Bay Area but I recently moved two years ago to go to CSULB, and I am still loving living in Southern California. 

During my time in college I took many classes that helped to broaden my skillset. I was fortunate to write articles for both La Voz and DIG Magazine, the two on campus publications for the colleges that I attended. My internship at Segerstrom Center for the Arts helped me to develop skills with social media marketing, graphic design and copywriting. Throughout college, I worked retail which taught me valuable customer service and management skills. As much as I love writing stories, I also have a passion for photography and photojournalism.

Outside of work I like to read, take photos and explore Southern California with my friends.
